Mariam Saba is a PhD candidate in Management Sciences under the supervision of Professor André Le Roux. Her research focuses on consumer panic buying behavior in response to pharmaceutical medication shortages in Egypt, with particular attention to the psychological and behavioral factors influencing purchasing decisions in crisis contexts. She also holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Poitiers.

 

Alongside her academic research, she has nearly ten years of professional experience in Market Research, serving as the Lead of the Global Service Center at GfK Cairo, responsible for Research Operations for the MENA and Europe Regions. She is currently a Lecturer in Marketing at Coventry University – The Knowledge Hub Universities in Egypt, where she is engaged in Business and Marketing undergraduate teaching and curriculum development.
